Everyone that knows us at Lime, knows that we love promotions. It’s the core of what we do and with Valentine’s Day approaching, what better way to mark the occasion than by talking about some of the promotions we are loving right now!
1. Premier Foods – ‘Win a Dinner, Give a Dinner’
First up is Premier Foods’ daily instant win promotion, ‘Win a Dinner, Give a Dinner’. The on-pack activation is running across multiple brands within Premier Foods’ brand portfolio including Ambrosia, Angel Delight, Bird’s, Bisto, Homepride, Loyd Grossman, McDougalls, Mr Kipling, Oxo, Paxo and Sharwood’s.
It’s a no purchase necessary campaign, giving shoppers the chance to win 1 of 5000 x £10 shopping vouchers. Lucky winners can then opt to either keep or donate their £10 prize to food redistribution charity, FareShare.
If a winner decides to keep their voucher, Premier Foods will make a £10 donation to the charity. If a winner decides to make a donation instead of keeping their prize, Premier Foods will pay a £10 winner’s donation to the charity and match the donation by giving an extra £10 on top.
We are all for supporting great causes like this and think it is a well worthy promotion to enter. This promotion not only connects to consumers and aligns well with the brands involved, it stands out due to its purpose related nature and no doubt will drive engagement and entries amongst shoppers wanting to support a positive cause.
2. Spar and Coca-Cola – ‘Taste the Magic Together’
Another promotion that caught our eye recently, is the Spar and Coca-Cola ‘Taste the Magic Together’ promotion. The daily instant win promotion had 15,000 prizes up for grabs over the promotional period. Prizes included money off vouchers and Love2Shop vouchers (worth £10 and £20). We really loved the clever spin the bottle gamification mechanic for this promotion- it worked so well with the product and was a fun way to engage entrants and encourage them to enter again.
Continuing the theme of gamified promotions, Lime recently launched a Maltesers Bunnies promotion which is giving consumers the chance to ‘Win a Weekend Getaway or Takeaway’, with European or UK weekend breaks and Just Eat digital gift cards on offer. The free to enter promotion encourages consumers to tap the bunny to play!
3. Wrigley Extra- ‘Win Mind-Boosting Breaks’
Finally, we love promotions that integrate prize partners. Finding the right partner for your consumer promotion can unlock credible and desirable prizes, whilst maximising the prize budget through negotiation with the partner.
Wrigley Extra have recently launched ‘Win Mind-Boosting Breaks’, in partnership with Not In The Guidebooks. Entrants can win 1 of 3 mood boosting holiday retreats to Morocco, Spain, Greece, Montenegro or Costa Rica, or 1 of 100 mood boosting UK mini breaks – the perfect prize to be offering at this time of the year, when everyone is thinking about their next holiday!

4. Kind Snacks – ‘Step It Up’
Our promotion specialists here at Lime helped KIND Snacks create a campaign to get the nation moving, with an aim to be accessible to all and to help support a healthy lifestyle. To encourage and inspire people to ‘step it up’, consumers were in with a chance of winning weekly prizes ranging from active tech to National Trust Memberships and KIND branded socks and frisbees.
How did we help? Well, we were responsible for managing the campaign end to end, including terms and conditions, website designs, prize sourcing and fulfilment.

5. James Wellbeloved – ‘Whistle Health Smart Device’ Partnership Promotion
Lime helped Mars Pet Care create a national campaign offering James Wellbeloved customers the chance to win a Whistle Health Smart Device.
This campaign helped drive penetration in the UK as well as to excite and recruit new shoppers by supporting the James Wellbeloved brand positioning of naturally healthy food while encouraging pet parents to think about James Wellbeloved as the best solution for their pets’ needs.
We were responsible for managing the campaign end to end, including terms and conditions, text to win entry mechanics and prize fulfilment.
