Lime worked alongside Kärcher to shake up promotions in the pressure washer category with Wash & Win, a nationwide campaign that ran in over 1,300 UK retailers. Unlike traditional discount-led promotions, Wash & Win replaced the standard single ‘grand prize’ approach with a guaranteed win for every validated customer, making the shopping experience instantly more exciting and rewarding.

Rather than relying on cashback incentives, the campaign focused on delivering instant gratification. Every purchase came with the chance to win a range of prizes, each of which carefully curated to enhance the joy of a freshly cleaned garden after having used their new Kärcher power washer. Prizes included inflatable hot tubs, pizza ovens, outdoor cinema projectors, or a £20 gift voucher – ensuring that every participant walked away with something.

Entrants headed to the Wash & Win website, and after validation of their till receipt, were prompted to play the Wash & Win game to immediately reveal their prize.

Lime managed the campaign end-to-end, overseeing creative concept development, prize sourcing, microsite build, T&Cs, customer service coordination, and prize fulfilment.

By shifting the category norm from deep discounting to an engaging, experience-driven instant win mechanic, Wash & Win set a new standard, creating a more immersive, rewarding, and memorable promotion for both Kärcher and its customers.
